Here at Artsology, we’re not just interested in paintings, sculpture, and art history … we have a great appreciation for creativity in many different forms! And in light of current events with the coronavirus pandemic and the need for personal protective equipment (PPE), we heard about a story involving some compassionate creativity coming out of Minnesota.

The companies Accent Paddles and Lightning Kayaks have shifted production at their manufacturing facility to make these face shields (below right) for the medical community. Their goal is to be able to send free face shields to healthcare workers in need. By making a minor donation of $5 here, you will be “sponsoring” the production of a face shield which will be distributed free to those in need. The $5 cost covers $3 in materials and $2 towards labor to help keep their employees working.
