On Wednesday, Nine – the owner of The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald – confirmed Perth newsreader Tracy Vo, sports presenter Alex Cullen and weather presenter Tim Davies will be joining the program in 2020, leaving just entertainment presenter Brooke Boney as the surviving member from the show’s 2019 makeover.

The new additions confirm the departure of newsreader Tom Steinfort who joined the program in January and will be returning to 60 Minutes, and veteran weather presenter Steve Jacobs who first joined the show in 2005.

Longtime entertainment presenter Richard Wilkins, who this year shared the role on Today with Boney, will move into a permanent hosting role on Weekend Today with Rebecca Maddern, Nine announced.
